Color My Bath H20 Lala! 300 Changing Bath Tablets

I've blogged about this product on my other site. It's not really a beauty product but it is a bath product. And since I was just blogging about a Lush Bath Bomb earlier I thought I would just re-post this article here.  Both of these items make baths fun and colorful.  But this particular product has no oils or scents.  Please check this post out if you have kids or you have anyone that likes colorful baths.  :)

Lush Rocketeer Bath Bomb

I've mentioned in my previous post that I had a broken piece of the Rocketeer Bath Bomb from Lush.  Well, I finally I found time to use it.  I had a large tub so I ended up using all of it.

My previous post: http://beautyfornewbies.blogspot.com/2012/11/lush-rocketeer-bath-bomb.html

So this bath bomb cost $6.95.  And the way it is made it's supposed to float, fizz (because of the fizzing candy inside), and spin around in your tub like a rocket...leaving a path of yellow and green path behind it.  Again, since mine was broken I wasn't able to experience it.  I do have a whole one that Lush had sent as a replacement so I can't wait to try it out than.  Also, there's tiny glitter that makes this bath even more magical.

Description from Lush:
For an out-of-this-world bathing expedition, pop a Rocketeer Bath Bomb in the tub. The blue rocket pack shoots around your tub, leaving a wake of froth, fizz and the sweet scent of candy sticks. Watch the water change from blue to yellow to green as the yellow "flames" push the rocket around the tub. We made this one to entice our little ones into the tub for an exciting adventure, but it turns out (as usual) we like using it ourselves too!

This made the bath very colorful.  And I love the scent.  It's a very sweet citrus scent!

At the end the water turns into a clear greenish blue color.  It's just beautiful!  I'm not sure if this item is one of their regular items or if it's a seasonal item.  I've just check their website and they don't have this bath bomb in stock anymore.  It's not in stores either.  I guess next time I see it available I should stock up on a few.

So who used and like this bath bomb?  Please let me what you all think of it.  And any other recommendations on bath bombs or Lush products?  I'm excited to hear what you have to say,

Lush Day After Christmas Haul

I'm not sure why its taking me so long to post up my Christmas haul from Lush. Well here it is. I did not purchase any Christmas box sets because items in them either looked old and dried up or the items in it I wasn't too interested in. I got soaps, bath bombs, and bubble wands.

Not sure why they didn't give out regular Lush bags at this store

My purchase came to $57.79. It's still kind of pricey but I did save almost 50%. It's nice to sometimes treat yourself to something nice right? I just hope I have time to use them. Hehe...

So soaps I got:

Angles Delight

Mr. Punch

Snow Globe

Sexy Peel
Bath bombs I got:

So White Ballistic (2)
Cinder Ballistic - I was told they going to discontinue this...
Golden Wonder
Bubble wands I got:

Magic Wands
If I finally get the time I'll write a short review on how these items each turn out. :) Anyone else take advantage of the big BOGO after Christmas sale? Tell me about it.

The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter

I received a small (1.7oz) Satsuma Body Butter for Christmas. It's been years since I've used The Body Shop products.  I am glad to have received this so I can try out their stuff again.

I believe The Body Shop is known for their body butters.  They have huge selections of different scents for different skin types.  I was told that Satsuma is one of their popular scents.  This is actually one of the scents you would smell once you walk into their shops.  Again, I was told they tend to use the Satsuma oils or sprays in their shops.

I always loved this scent.  I was always reluctant to purchase this body butter because the smell from the container never smelt like the scent in the store. The sales lady always telling me it's the same scent but I just didn't believe them.  Until now...that I actually used it and have it on my skin...They were right.  It's the same scent.  It has a citrus scent to it.  I just love this scent.

The body butter is very moisturizing.  It's not as thick as I thought it would be since its body butter.  I've been using this product mainly one my hands and other dry parts of my body like feet and elbows.  It's a great product to use in the winter.

This small container cost $6.  The person who got it for me left the price tag on.  That might not be the price she purchased at though since The Body Shop always has deals going on.  Like buy two get one free. I will be checking out the store the next time I stop by the malls. And I will be repurchasing this item and might even try on other items they have.

Anyone have any Body Shop recommendations they would like to share with me?  I always love to try new things so please let me know!
